England captain Harry Kane has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich that will keep him at the Bundesliga club until 2029.
The 33-year-old striker had entered the final 12 months of the four-year deal he agreed after joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur for £86m in 2023.
Kane’s new agreement follows a remarkable 2025-26 season in which he scored 73 goals in 65 matches. Last month, he was named the world’s best male player at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The extension ends uncertainty over Kane’s immediate future and secures his stay at Bayern beyond his original contract expiry.
The England captain remains central to both his club and national team, and is England’s record goalscorer; he will equal Peter Shilton’s record of 125 caps if he features against the Czech Republic at Wembley.
