AMVCA-Nominated Makeup Artiste Hosts Masterclass For Beginners, Professionals

AMVCA-nominated makeup artiste, Feyisayo Oyebisi,  is hosting a 2 days intensive masterclass on special effects makeup for beginners and professionals in the industry.

Famous for her commendable work in movies like Ajosepo, Ile Owo, and A Tribe Called Judah, Oyebisi who boasts 15 years’ experience in her craft and in the audio-visual industry, will take participants through several film and TV makeup techniques, as well as secrets behind creating flawless makeup for high-definition cameras.

“Special effects makeup is a powerful tool in storytelling, and I look forward to helping others develop their skills and creativity.

“The masterclass is ideal for makeup artists looking to expand their repertoire, film and TV professionals aiming to enhance their production quality, and everyone who is passionate about the art of special effects makeup.”

The artiste choice of limited participation stems from the desire to ensure not only hands-on training but individual attention to every participant, who at the end of the workshop will have mastered the art of creating realistic injuries, bruises, and cuts that enhance dramatic scenes. 

Similarly, they will perfect the technique of crafting bald caps for a variety of characters, alongside acquire skills for aging actors for roles that require an aged look to bring authenticity to any scene.
