Alamboye who made this known at the inauguration of the national executive Council of the organization, commended President Bola Tinubu for his commitment towards youth empowerment, especially through the implementation of youth-friendly policies and programmes within his first year in office.

He urged youths to shun all forms of sentiments and participate actively in achieving economic development and sustaining democratic rule in Nigeria.

He emphasised the need to harness the potential of Nigerian youths, who, according to statistics, constitute over 70 percent of the nation’s population.

He called for lasting measures to address the challenges impeded by youth development in the country. The theme of the event is Democracy: Governance and the Youths.
