Hardship: Nigerians Urged To Keep Faith In God

Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Mike Okonkwo, has admonished Nigerians and parishioners and Nigerians to keep faith in God who knows all things, even in the face of economic hardship.

Okonkwo who stated this as the church begins its World Celebration 2024: Annual Men and Women Conference, which draws thousands of participants from over 200 branches in Nigeria and beyond, said that Christians should believe in God who can navigate tomorrow for their sake.

He urged Nigerians to “keep faith in God’s plan for Nigeria as there is a way out of every tough situation. The Annual Men and Women Conference which aims to equip men and women with the required skills and knowledge to triumph in life is organized for this purpose,” he said

Holding at the TREM Cathedral of His Glory, Anthony-Oke, Gbagada Expressway, Lagos, Nigeria, the organising team in a statement noted that the event has the theme: The Gospel Truth 2.0 holding from Tuesday 25th June, 2024 to Sunday 30th June, 2024 and will afford participants to reflect and brainstorm on overcoming present challenges and how to further impacting lives as choice men and women  will speak on  myriad topics.

Okonkwo noted that the week ushers in hope in God as men and women participate in the week long event and receive powerful sermons and teachings, heartfelt worship and praise, Inspiring testimonies and stories and life-changing encounters and connections that will rejuvenate your spirit, reignite your passion, and rediscover the truth of God’s Word.
