Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has joyously announced the birth of his child.
Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday evening, Aki shared the delightful news, writing: “My wonderful people, please rejoice with us, my wife and I have welcomed a bouncing baby boy. To God be the glory.”
LEADERSHIP recalls that in an August 2023 interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actor, who married his wife, Nneoma Nwania, in 2011, explained his decision to keep his family life private. He stated, “I have children, but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.”
Ikedieze further elaborated on his stance, saying, “So, I hide them, even my wife, apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ardor.”
