Stefflon Don Opens Up On Rekindling Her Relationship With Burna Boy

British Jamaican rapper, Stefflon Don has spoken about rekindling her relationship with Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.

While speaking on her recent clash with fellow Jamaican star, Jada Kingdom, over Burna Boy in an interview with GRM Daily, Steff told the interviewer that he was “funny” after she wrongly interpreted his question about rekindling her relationship to mean Burna Boy rather than Jada whom the interview was referring to.

Recall that Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom threw shade at each other after the former, who was recently rumoured to have rekindled her love affair with Burna Boy, released a new song, ‘Dat A Dat,’ where she alleged that an unnamed woman slept with her partner.

However, given Burna Boy’s alleged romance with Jada Kingdom, it didn’t take long for her to respond to Stefflon Don.

Speaking on their feud, Stefflon Don said she didn’t care about Burna Boy and Jada Kingdom’s alleged affair because she was no longer with him.

She claimed that her diss track wasn’t targeted at Jada, stressing that they were “cool” even though they were never friends.

She said, “We [me and Jada] used to be cool. And the situation that happened [Burna and Jada’s alleged affair], I wasn’t even with him [Burna Boy then]. I don’t even care what he is doing.

“I didn’t care about that situation. Not a little bit. Jada and I were never friends but we’ve linked once or twice. In the song, I said my man, not my ex. That [Burna Boy] was my ex.”

The interviewer asked: “In the future do you see yourselves rekindling at all?”

Stefflon Don replied: “[laughs] You are funny? I don’t know.”

The interviewer: “Cause you are two powerful strong women.”

Stefflon Don: “Oh! You are talking about me and Jada? I thought you were talking about me and Burna. That’s funny.”

Stefflon and Burna announced their split sometime in 2021. The couple began dating in 2019 after meeting at a vocation in Ghana.

In April 2024, rumours emerged that the couple had rekindled their romance after Burna Boy reportedly gifted Stefflon Don a car on her birthday.The duo have not confirmed nor denied the reports.
