The Quality Improvement Institute of Nigeria (QIIN) in collaboration with Cademy Ltd. and AAA Medi-Calibrations Ltd have joined forces to enhance the quality of healthcare service across Nigeria.

The partnership marks a pivotal moment in standardizing medical laboratory practices through the ISO 15189:2022 Implementation Certification Course.

In a statement, the ISO 15189:2022 sets the global benchmark for quality and competence in medical laboratories, providing a crucial framework that ensures the highest standards in laboratory operations—essential for accurate diagnostics and effective patient care.

It said in a diverse healthcare landscape like Nigeria’s, standardizing laboratory procedures is critical to significantly improving diagnostic accuracy and health outcomes.

AAA Medi-Calibrations Ltd., known for their cutting-edge medical laboratory equipment and services, brings a wealth of expertise and resources to the table. They are sponsoring the prestigious ISO 15189:2022 certification course to make it accessible and affordable (reducing the actual fee by more than 300%). The training is set to take place in Abuja, Lagos, and Port-Harcourt this August 2024.”

On the benefits for Nigerian healthcare professionals, the statement said participants in the ISO course will experience immense professional growth and opportunities.
