The founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, Rev. Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi, has called on Nigerians to have a renewed focus on unity and love among themselves, for Nigeria to be great again.
Ajayi stated this yesterday at a public rally in preparation for the upcoming prayer conference for Nigeria, which is tagged ‘Celebrate the Comforter’ on July 20, 2024 in Abuja.
She said that pure love will turn everything around in Nigeria for the best, saying that Nigeria’s economy and overall well-being will improve when the people embrace God’s love.
The cleric said that the importance of coming together as one body in Christ, underscoring the power of unity as described in Psalm 133:1: “How beautiful it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
She explained that the body of Christ is indivisible, with each part essential to the whole.
“The head cannot say to the nose, ‘I don’t need you.’ We are brothers and sisters in unity and love. With this unity, our country will thrive and surpass our expectations,” she declared.
The cleric highlighted the transformative power of love, referencing John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten Son.”
She said that this divine love, should inspire everyone to offer their best to one another, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
Reflecting on the pursuit of spiritual perfection, Ajayi noted that while no earthly church is perfect, unity in Christ transcends denominational differences.
“The only perfect church is in heaven. Here on earth, we must overcome ignorance and division. Whether in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Canaan Land, Methodist, Anglican, or Christ Apostolic Church, we are all friends in Christ when we stand on the Rock of Ages,” she stated.
She called for an end to segregation and emphasised the beauty of diversity as God’s creation, quoting Psalm 104:24: “Oh Lord, how manifold are all your works. In wisdom, You have made them all. The earth is full of Your creatures.”
