The chief executive officer (CEO) of Royal Hugs Surprises, Toyin Oyesanya, located in Lagos has announced her debut in the Nollywood industry.
The entrepreneur joins a list of growing non-theatric celebrities like Tiwa Savage, making their feature film debuts this year.
While she kept her role, the name and plot of the film under wraps, Oyesanya , who spoke at the opening of her new office in Ikeja, said the film will stream on Netflix.
“I give thanks to God for keeping me relevant. I have also received a few scripts to act in but you know my main job takes a lot of my time and I work Sunday to Sunday. So, the little time I have is what I gave to the acting profession and it has been thrilling.”
The Queen’s College, Yaba alumni noted that it’s been ten years since she ventured into the business of creating memorable moments for people. Her company is in the niche business of gifts and surprises.
“Making people is a passion for me; and my company Royal Hugs Surprises was inspired by a personal experience.”
