In the bustling Nigerian market lies a lucrative opportunity for entrepreneurs to make a fortune by selling Advanced Car Security Systems.

These systems, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, provide vehicle owners with peace of mind and enhanced security against theft and unauthorized access.

Imagine a scenario where a car owner in Lagos installs an Advanced Car Security System that includes GPS tracking, remote engine immobilisation, and real-time alerts. With these features, the owner can rest assured knowing that their vehicle is protected at all times, even in high-risk areas. Additionally, the system can be integrated with mobile applications for seamless control and monitoring.

A mechanic at Ajayi Farm in Ikeja area of Lagos State stated that, people are opting for the latest security measures to protect their vehicles. “For instance, while test-driving a customer’s car, I drove to the Airport area, and shortly after, the owner called me to inquire about my location. I replied that I was at the garage, but he corrected me, stating that, the vehicle was currently at the Airport, before I revealed that I was test-driving it,” he disclosed.

Speaking with a Vehicle Rewire and expert in Car security, Kunle Ayodeji said: “I have installed a tracker in my car so I can monitor its location wherever it is. I own a car that is used as a taxi, and some drivers might tell me false stories about their whereabouts. With this security feature, I can monitor my vehicle’s location in real-time. If a driver tells me they are in Ikeja, I can verify their location, and if they are on the Island, I can also track their location accurately, thanks to the installed tracker.”

Lucrativity/Profitability

An auto security device dealer at auto spare parts shop, Ikeja, Obinna Okeke, stated that, various vehicle owners visit his shop to purchase and install security devices in their cars, offering different types to cater to their specific needs. This includes a door timer which is sold for N15,000, a remote and key-based system sold for N45,000, including installation, and a tracker for N150,000, also including installation.
Hence, he can make N200,000 and above as profit in a month, depending on patronage.

Marketing

According to experts, one can tap into this market where the demand for vehicle security is on the rise by establishing partnerships with local car dealers.
Also, partnering mechanic workshops can further expand your reach in the market as mechanics can recommend your security solutions to customers who come in for car maintenance or repairs, they said.
