The director general and focal person, Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency (NSHCDA), Habiba-Balarabe Suleiman, said the state government had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bank of Industry (BoI) for a Youth Revolving Fund Scheme to the tune of N500 million.
She said the state government released N250 million to BoI as part of its commitment even as she explained that many youths from across the state have benefited from the scheme and are doing well in their chosen businesses.

She said the town hall meeting was organised to enable the agency and BOI educate new beneficiaries on the loan procedure.

“We had a lot of feedback, some positive and some negative, as a government that listens to its people, we decided to hold this town hall.

“So that we can share experiences and knowledge, and then give out new information on the financial regulations as it concerns the Youth Revolving Fund Scheme.

“We are happy that the town hall is a success, we had a valuable exchange and hopefully, moving forward we are going to have a better understanding and accelerated process for the beneficiaries,” she said.
The director general said since the commencement of the scheme the state government and BOI had severally reviewed the MoI to make the process easy for prospective beneficiaries.
