Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has approved the promotion of junior and senior staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) from years 2022 and 2023 on grade levels 07 to 15.
In a statement issued by the management of FCDA, 1,018 senior and junior staff were successful following the conclusion of the exercise in April 2024.
Wike also approved the immediate review of the conditions of service and operations manual for the FCDA.
According to the statement, the executive secretary of FCDA, Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad disclosed this, affirming that the FCT Civil Service Commission chairman, Engr Emeka Ezeh, conveyed the approval.

The management further stated that the authority is setting up the necessary machinery to realise the objectives for the review.

In the statement, the management and staff of the FCDA expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation to the FCT minister for the approvals, that it will go a long way to boosting the morale of staff and improve their productivity, which is in line with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
