UK based actor, Doyin Amodu , is set to shoot a movie worth N200m. The actor and producer , who is the United Kingdom’s president of Theater Arts Motion Picture Practitioner Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and the matron of an international non-governmental organisation, HPAN-UK, said the movie centers on prison reforms.
The production, aimed at over-the-top (OTT) distribution will feature top Nigerian talents and be filmed across the country using high-end cinematography equipment.
Also speaking on her recent appointment, she said, “Becoming matron of HPAN-UK is a privilege. I had been a renowned humanitarian officer committed to serving those in need. My extensive contributions to humanitarian services, through my ‘Hope at Twilight’ initiative, have significantly impacted the lives of many, particularly the elderly and unsung heroes within our society.
Therefore, becoming a matron of the Hospital and Prison Welfare Initiative (HPWI) is an extension of my services to humanity.”
Amodu has featured in several movies which includes the blockbuster ‘ Shadow Parties, At Home Abroad, Musical Chairs, Golden Love and ‘Forever Mine’ movie productions.
