The commissioner also said through the Federal Ministry of Solid Mineral Resources, the ministry would ensure that the multi-million naira market commences operation soon as all the needed facilities and equipment have been put in place.Hamza commended Governor Abba Yusuf for the foresight in establishing the ministry which would reorganise and refocus mining activities and help in the prevention of environmental degradation, pollution, improve revenue generation and provide employment opportunities for the state.
He further reiterated the ministryās commitment to leave no stone unturned in reaching out to all stakeholders within and outside the country for collaboration and capacity building to achieve the target goals.
