Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter Chinwe Zoe has released her third single, “Jesus Don Win”, produced by Masterkraft, as she continues to build her music career following her debut in December 2025.
Zoe, who began recording professionally in December 2025 after years of singing at home and in church, has also released “Chinwendum”, featuring gospel singer Frank Edwards, and “Undeniable”, which came out on May 7, 2026.
The official video for “Undeniable” has recorded more than 460,000 views on YouTube, according to figures provided in her profile. Her latest release, “Jesus Don Win”, features a video directed by Avalon Okpe.
Zoe said her decision to pursue music professionally followed a near-death experience that changed her outlook on life and faith.
“In that moment, when I thought it was over, God showed me mercy,” she said. “He gave me victory. And that victory was too loud to keep inside.”
The singer said her songwriting draws on personal experiences and biblical passages, which she develops into songs. She explained that she often waits for a message or idea to take shape before working on the melody.
Her approach, she said, is to create gospel music that listeners can easily sing along to while remaining suitable for congregational worship.
“It should be simple enough for a child to sing and strong enough for a choir to carry,” she said.
Zoe, who sings in English and Igbo and occasionally in Pidgin, identified CeCe Winans, Nathaniel Bassey and Dunsin Oyekan as some of the musicians who have influenced her work.
She said her music reflects experiences that have shaped her faith.
“Every song I sing comes from a place I have lived. My pain taught me how to worship, my joy taught me how to praise,” she said.
Figures supplied in her profile indicate that her YouTube channel has recorded more than 627,000 views across nine videos, while her Spotify monthly listeners stood at approximately 6,500. Her Audiomack profile is also reported to be verified.
Zoe records under her own imprint, H2 Records, with distribution through ONErpm. She made her first public performance at the 2026 Annual Virtuous Women Network conference in Enugu, where she performed “Undeniable”.
Beyond music, the singer said she sees her work as an avenue to encourage people experiencing difficult circumstances and promote her Christian faith.
“I want my songs to shift mindsets from worry to worship,” she said, adding that she hopes her music will encourage listeners to maintain their faith during challenging times.
