The All Progressives Party (APC) candidate for the forthcoming Edo State governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has pledged to be dedicated to development and deliver a proactive governance if elected.

The Media Team of the governorship candidate, in a release Tuesday, said the Edo Central Senator remained a potential transformative leader for the state, adding most people in the state, especially the youth were optimistic about the emergence of Okpebholo.

Okpebholo, according to the release, has been relentless in his efforts to deliver on his promises, despite the constraints of his current position.

They noted that his recent unveiling of various projects across Edo State has not only showcased his dedication but also highlighted his ability to navigate challenges and deliver tangible results if elected.

The release claimed that the youth of Edo State, particularly active on social media, have been vocal in their support for the candidate.
It said many young people feel that opposition in state has been missing in action, leaving the state stagnant and unprepared for future challenges.

They noted that as the 2024 gubernatorial election approaches with a political climate charged with anticipation and uncertainty, Okpebholo’s rising profile suggests a potential shift in the state’s leadership dynamics.

They noted that his hands-on approach and commitment to development have not gone unnoticed, and many Edo citizens were eager to see if he could deliver on a larger scale.
