The Delta State government has approved the use of the Central Hospital Agbor, the Advance Diagnostic and the Trauma Centres in Agbor, as teaching centres for students in the medical field.

The vice chancellor of University of Delta, (UNIDEL), Agbor, Prof Stella Chiemeke disclosed this when she played host to the Zonal Medical Director of Agbor Zone and a consultant gynaecologist, Dr Stanley Nnoli.

Chiemeke stated that the use of the centres which have world class facilities and equipment will commence in September, 2024, for the 2024/2025 academic session.

She commended Nnoli for his contributions towards the resourcing of the medical science and assured him of continued partnership and synergy.

Earlier, Nnoli said he was in UNIDEL to congratulate the vice chancellor on her appointment and to appreciate the management team for the tremendous growth that the institution had witnessed within a short period of time.
