The defendant, according to the police, committed the offences between 2015 and 2024 at the Onilekere Cement area of Lagos State.

The police prosecution accused the defendant of conspiring with others, who are currently at large, to defraud her employer, Chidinma Peace, of the money.

The prosecution also claimed that the offences committed contravened Sections 411, 314(1)(a)(b)(2)(3), 280, and 287 of the Lagos State Criminal Laws of 2015.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge, a development which made Magistrate Salami grant the defendant bail in the sum of N1 million, with two sureties in like sum.
