A former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress,  Dumebi Kachukwu, has called on Nigerians to proffer  strategic solutions to combat the economic hardship in the country.

Kachukwu made the appeal while speaking to newsmen in Abuja yesterday.

He said with the recent protests on hunger and hardship on different dimensions and mischief makers trying to score political points, he was urging good Nigerians to join him for an upcoming town hall meeting where people would come with different solutions to alleviate the pains of Nigerians.

Ukachukwu said, “We have an obsessive focus on our nation’s problems and the supposed failure of  government of the day, with blame game that is more on identifying problems than proffering solutions. We need to leave the streets and head to the solution roundtable.

“In the coming days I and a few other patriotic Nigerians will be hosting town halls and spaces devoted to aggregating solutions to our many complex problems from the best and brightest amongst us.”

“I enjoin all well-meaning Nigerians, all opposition parties, the ruling party and well-wishers and friends of our dear nation to join me at any of the solution roundtables that will be coming up.”
