The YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at mobilising 370,000 youths nationwide as cultural and development advocates across the country.

Country Director and Gender Equality Mainstreaming expert, Cynthia Aigbosesi Ogbiti, in a statement, explained that the initiative was part of ongoing effort to ensure open governance and diversity integration in the country.

He stated that the YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign challenges Nigerian youths to take pride in the concept of Pan-Nigeria unity as a vital asset for national development.

Urging all Nigerians to unite in their diversity to build a better and more cohesive nation, he remarked that the campaign was a call to action for a national reawakening that transcends the narrow confines of political, religious, ethnic, and commercial interests.

“By fostering sociocultural productivity and driving national transformation, this campaign seeks to position the youth as the catalysts for a more unified and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.

“At the heart of the YOU!nite Nigeria initiative is a bold vision: to promote democratic possibilities that ensure National Unity, security, and prosperity for all Nigerians.

“This vision is anchored on the YO!United Nigeria Agenda, which prioritizes inclusive development as the cornerstone of national progress.

“The initiative is founded on the belief that only a unified national mandate can truly harness the potential of Nigeria’s rich cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity.”

Continuing, he noted: “The slogan “Let’s YO!Unite Nigeria” encapsulates the campaign’s NextGen mandate, which aims to empower young voter-citizens to engage in meaningful political discourse, shaping Nigeria’s future through active participation.

“Through a variety of cultural integration platforms, programs, and projects, the YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign seeks to forge stronger connections among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic and linguistic communities, transforming these into a dynamic force for national development.

“YOU!nite Nigeria stands as the first-ever Pan-Nigeria Unity and Sustainable Democracy Marketplace. This innovative platform is designed to integrate and empower over 10 million future leaders from every community across the country.

“The campaign is committed to fostering National Youth Integration, Political Inclusion, and Open Governance, all with the ultimate goal of achieving national prosperity.
