YOU!nite Nigeria Unveils Campaign To Mobilise 370,000 Youth For Nation Building

The YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at mobilising 370,000 youths nationwide as cultural and development advocates across the country.

Country Director and Gender Equality Mainstreaming expert, Cynthia Aigbosesi Ogbiti, in a statement, explained that the initiative was part of ongoing effort to ensure open governance and diversity integration in the country.

He stated that the YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign challenges Nigerian youths to take pride in the concept of Pan-Nigeria unity as a vital asset for national development.

Urging all Nigerians to unite in their diversity to build a better and more cohesive nation, he remarked that the campaign was a call to action for a national reawakening that transcends the narrow confines of political, religious, ethnic, and commercial interests.

“By fostering sociocultural productivity and driving national transformation, this campaign seeks to position the youth as the catalysts for a more unified and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.

“At the heart of the YOU!nite Nigeria initiative is a bold vision: to promote democratic possibilities that ensure National Unity, security, and prosperity for all Nigerians.

“YOU!nite Nigeria stands as the first-ever Pan-Nigeria Unity and Sustainable Democracy Marketplace. This innovative platform is designed to integrate and empower over 10 million future leaders from every community across the country.

“The campaign is committed to fostering National Youth Integration, Political Inclusion, and Open Governance, all with the ultimate goal of achieving national prosperity.

“The YOU!nite Nigeria Campaign is more than just a call to action; it is a movement designed to reshape Nigeria’s socio-political landscape by placing the nation’s future in the hands of its youth. Through this initiative, Nigeria’s young people are not just participants but leaders in the ongoing quest for a unified, prosperous, and democratic nation.”

The campaign’s 5-point mandate outlines its key objectives: Strengthening Cultural Integration: Creating socio-economic opportunities to promote unity.Uplifting Democratic Inclusivity: Ensuring every ethnic-linguistic nationality has a voice in the democratic process.National Orientation and Mentorship.
