The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen against quitting Napoli for Chelsea this summer.

Osimhen is expected to leave the Serie A side before the transfer window closes with the Blues emerging as one of the frontrunners to land the Nigerian striker in an extraordinary player-swap deal.
However, in a video posted on ESPN’s X account, Ayodele has predicted that Osimhen “will not shine” at Chelsea.

He said: “I want to quickly advise as directed, that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career.

“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to win the World Cup and Nations Cup.”
Ex-Blues boss Antonio Conte, now in charge at the Italian club, wants £97.5m Stamford Bridge outcast Romelu Lukaku, young £17m midfielder Cesare Casadei plus a further £39m to seal the transfer.

Nigerian hitman Osimhen, 25, wants to quit the Serie A side, while Belgian striker Lukaku, 31, is desperate to end his Chelsea hell after two years out on loan.

The Blues’ billionaire owner Todd Boehly has already splashed out £152m in this transfer window, taking his total player splurge to a staggering £1.114billion since he took charge just two years ago.
