Taraba Community Hails Appointment Of RMAFC Commissioner

Ugondo Mdema Community in Donga local government area in the southern part of Taraba State has lauded President Bola Tinubu overthe appointment of Prof Steven Ugba, the former Nigerian Ambassador to Russia as commissioner,  Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

Addressing journalists in Jalingo, the kindred head of Ugondo Mdema, Chief Ugondo Uma Gbuo commended the president for finding Ugba worthy to be appointed into such a sensitive position to serve under his administration.

He appealed to the president to consider more appointments of other worthy sons and daughters of Ugondo Mdema who are indigenes of Taraba State into his administration.

The traditional ruler also gave assurance that the community would continue to support the president to succeed in his Renewed Hope Agenda.

, stating that the appointment is well-deserved and urged Amb Ugba to serve in the administration of Tinubu with all sincerity to attract more opportunities for the people.

 

“I urge Ugba to continue to make our clan proud” recalling how Ugba significantly improved the diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Russia when he served as an ambassador.
