The Standing Inter-ministerial Technical Committee(SIMTC) on “Agro Zero Reject” has developed a five-year action plan and a website to provide information required for integrated agricultural export control and business.

The web-based platform will provide a service for the application and issuing of traceable, using Quick Response(QR Code technology), common health export documents for exports from Nigeria to other countries.

The development is part of the initiatives by the committee which was set-up by the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development with the mandate of ensuring that the ban by European Union (EU) on export of Nigeria beans is lifted and that Nigeria never, again suffer any reject of agro commodities in the export market.
