FCTA Health Secretariat Takes Free Medical Outreach To Bwari

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), through the Health Services and Environment Secretariat (HSES), is set to commence a free medical outreach for indigent and vulnerable residents of the Bwari area council.

In a statement signed by the Head of FCTA HSES, Badaru Yakasai, the event is scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2024, at Pilot Science Primary School, Bwari area council of Abuja.

Yakasai stated that services to be offered during the outreach include minor surgeries, dental care, free HIV/AIDS screening, nutritional support and food distribution, eye screening and free eyeglasses.

“Additionally, free cooking gas cylinders will be distributed in support of the ‘Abuja Clean Cooking Initiative,’ along with fertilisers, to help improve farmers’ crop yields in the area,” he said.
