The Managing Director and CEO of Harmony Gardens and Estate Development, Hon. Saheed Mosadoluwa, has praised the Lagos State House of Assembly for its intervention in resolving ongoing disputes between his company and Aare Bashiru Fakorede.

In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, Mosadoluwa accused a group of orchestrating a campaign to discredit his company’s operations.

He claimed that the same group, which had been involved in previous failed land-grabbing attempts, including one involving Murphy Adebare Topaz, is now backing recent efforts by Utomi, Etsabomhen, and Oni Orisan to undermine Harmony Gardens.

Mosadoluwa asserted that the group had brought the matter before at least seven different police formations, each of which produced reports aimed at indicting his company.

He refuted allegations that his company, Saheed Ibile, was involved in land grabbing or demolishing homes, insisting that these claims were false and that his adversaries were using land grabbers to seize his company’s legitimate investments.

“The court has confirmed that I did not trespass,” he said. “The property in question rightfully belongs to my company as a statutory purchase, with all payment evidence submitted to the court, police, and the state assembly.”

He further explained that while the case is still pending in court, his company is cooperating fully with the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Mosadoluwa also criticized the practice of reselling land after it has already been sold, a tactic commonly used by Omo Onile land sellers, and emphasized that once his company pays for a property, it is secured and cannot be reclaimed.

“If any land is sold to my company, it is sealed—forget it,” he stated. “Even if you disguise yourself as a land grabber in uniform, it won’t change the outcome.”

He questioned the basis of the accusations against Harmony Gardens and Estate Development, particularly in light of the Lagos State Assembly’s findings during their fact-finding mission. “We paid for the land with investors’ money, and we will use it. It’s not free,” he said.

Mosadoluwa concluded by expressing confidence in the current Inspector General of Police (IGP) and his belief that justice would prevail.

He urged residents of Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states to maintain trust in the Nigerian police and to seek proper investigation into land-related disputes.

Additionally, he called on the media to ensure balanced reporting, urging them not to be used to tarnish his reputation.Abuja
