The director-general of National Biotechnology Research and Development Agency, Dr Abdulahi Mustapha, in his keynote address charged the researchers against holding the outcome of their researched works.

“Gone are those days when we kept our research on the shelves. We are now out to the people with our researches and discoveries, Biotechnology is meant to enhance the lives of people.

“Biotechnology is to produce multiple technological advances. If we do not embark on inward scientific research and discoveries, we may be forced to depend on other countries,” he said.
