The products range from NASENI Transformer to its NASENI CNG Conversion Center located in Utako, Abuja, a NASENI Solar CCTV, an Automatic Changeover Switch, a Solar Kit Trainer, Science Kits, a Rotary Furnace, Digital Roadsign, Animal Feeds, a Science Automatic Model, among others.

Speaking at the event, the executive vice chairman of the agency,  Khalil Suleiman Halilu, said the aim of participating in the fair is to showcase its technological and innovative prowess, its research institutes to Nigeria and to the world.

Halilu who was represented by the NASENI director of information, Samuel Ayeoyenikan, said prior to its recent transformation for better delivery, the agency has been focused on accelerating technology transfer, as well as domestication of technologies for easy hand-over to both Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and other end-users.

“NASENI’s participation at this annual fair organised by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), is a means to foster the 3 C’s principle of our operations in the new NASENI, that is – Creation, Collaboration and Commercialisation. All 12 NASENI development institutes including NASENI Solar Energy, a limited liability company owned by the agency have their products and technologies exhibited at the fair.

The general objectives of our participation cannot be overemphasised as this will create more awareness about the NASENI brand and increase patronage for the agency,” said Ayeoyenikan.

Established in 1992, NASENI was purpose-built to conduct research and development (R&D) work, production, reverse engineering and actual manufacturing in the areas of capital goods, machines, spares and equipment, to ensure Nigeria possesses home-grown capacities for genuine industrialization and sustainable development.
