Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Muyiwa Aleshinloye as the Head of Publicis Media in Central and West Africa, marking a significant leadership change within the company’s media division.

In his new role, Aleshinloye will oversee the operations of Publicis Media, Starcom, and Zenith across Central and West Africa, managing multi-million-dollar budgets in 22 countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, and other key markets. His leadership will impact a vast audience of over 600 million people.

He brings with him over 12 years of marketing and business experience, having shaped global brands such as Samsung, Pepsi, VISA, British Council, and Nestlé. Since joining Publicis Groupe in May 2022 as Director of Digital and Media for Central and West Africa (CWAR), he has successfully consolidated and expanded the company’s leadership in both Francophone and Anglophone markets. His focus on strategy, digital integration, and brand management has driven the company’s growth across the region.

Before his role at Publicis, Muyiwa held several notable positions, including Head of Marketing at Wakanow, where he led marketing communications and performance strategies across West Africa.
