Fireboy has addressed the ongoing conflicts between Nigerian artistes, highlighting that disagreements are a natural part of the music industry.

According to the singer, disagreement is normal in music as artistes are humans as well.
He stated, “Everyone should focus on what concerns them. Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media continue telling the stories.” Fireboy emphasized that rivalries, such as the latest one between Wizkid and Davido, are normal, noting, “Beef is all part of it; we are all human.”

The artist also shared his preference for staying out of drama, saying he likes to “mind his business.”
He spoke about his recently released fourth album, Adedamola, which features collaborations with Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall, all facilitated by YBNL boss Olamide, who served as the album’s executive producer.

According to him, Artist conflicts are not new in the Nigerian music scene, with notable disagreements spanning various eras.

LEADERSHIP Weekend recalls that recent years have seen disputes like that between Ruger and other artists, who later reconciled with a joint EP, and ongoing tensions between Davido and Burna Boy.

Fireboy’s comments shed light on the complex dynamics within the industry while reinforcing his commitment to a peaceful artistic journey.
