Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will be agog as all arrangements have been put place for the kick off of the maiden Alhaji Hamidu Football Challenge Cup on October, 14th at KUJE Township Stadium.

Chairman of Kuje Football Council, Hussaini Tanko Abubakar, in a statement released on Sunday, said 22 clubs will compete for cash prize and trophy at the event.

He said certificate of participation will also be given to all the participating clubs with branded balls.
FCT FA digital chairman Mohammed Adam Mouhtar; chairman technical committee, Coach Samuel Abimbola; organising committee chairman, Barr. Bocknor; chairman Women League FCT FA,Ngozi Eze and other dignitaries including the six-chairmen of FCT Footbal Area Councils are expected to grace the kick off ceremony.

The curtain raiser will be Vision Stars FC vs U Z Academy. Other fixtures for the first round are Home Boys Vs Mega Stars Stallions FC Vs Fire Sone, Kuje Veterans Vs Cornerstone, and Shadadi FC Vs Ultimate Shooters.
