A new era in the history of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) has begun as Nigeria’s Wahid Enitan Oshodi was unanimously elected as the president of the  54-member continental sports body, yesterday.

His election was the high point of the Annual General Meeting of the continental body held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Oshodi, who was elected for four years tenure, will replace Khaled El-Salhy who served three terms from 2010 to 2024 and thus becomes the only Nigerian heading a continental sports organisation.
