As an IT professional, you’ve probably spent countless hours staring at a blank document, trying to craft the perfect software documentation. We’ve all been there and the project is demanding much of your time, but the documentation feels like a mountain yet to climb.

Let’s face it, software documentation is crucial, but it’s rarely anyone’s favorite part of a project. It’s time-consuming, prone to errors, and often becomes outdated faster than we can update it.

In the UK alone, 76% of IT projects fail (Tech-Monitor,2020), costing £37B/year in lost revenue and productivity (Rolfe,2018) and 56% of the cause of these project failures is due to misalignment based on inadequate project documentation, poor project data, and lack of clearly defined project objectives (PMI,2017).

In 2023, Nelson Uzenabor and Patrick Giwa  launched PaceAI to solve the problem of writing software documentation to save time for IT professionals in IT projects.

The platform helps IT professionals write software documentation with AI easily so they can save time, focus on strategic tasks and deliver faster with their IT projects and communicate easily between multiple stakeholders.

“We want to support over 1 million IT professionals by 2027 to be more efficient and effective in their jobs by writing software documentation in a faster and easier way with AI and to also create a delightful user experience to do this for their projects” Patrick Giwa, CTO said.

Once a question is asked, the user can generate their software documents with AI in the shortest time possible. Also, we enable the user to get the best value for their money upon subscription.”

A Senior Product Manager, a user of PaceAI, dropped a review among hundreds of others on the website of “I have not seen a tool like PaceAI to do my best work and I am glad I found out about this tool- I get done faster than expected now.”

Another review by a Business Analyst said that “PaceAI is very reliable, very fast, and I felt like a kid in a candy store using the tool with all of the features.”

PaceAI started out serving Business Analysts, however it has gradually morphed to include a much larger audience—non technical IT professionals. In an exclusive statement to Leadership.ng, PaceAI revealed that at the moment, they are focusing on making it accessible to every IT professional out there looking to write software documentation faster with a couple of clicks. The product is available to create and generate software documents across the world.
