Experts Hold Webinar On Clinical Psychology, Counselling

Guidance and counselling experts in Nigeria have concluded plans to hold a webinar on hidden wealth in counselling practice for counsellors, counselling psychologists, and clinical psychologists.

The webinar, organised by Image Counselling Clinic, Abuja, is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13.

Image Counselling, in a statement signed by its director, Dr Olujinmi Odeniyi, said the webinar would feature sessions on commercial and economic activities in counselling, consultancy services, setting up a legal and viable counselling office, hidden wealth in counselling and entrepreneurial counselling.

According to the statement, the sessions will be facilitated by accomplished counselling practitioners, including Prof. Adesoji Awoyemi of the Department of Counselling and Human Development, University of Ibadan and Stanley Tongbe of Counsellorpreneurship International, Abuja.

“The major themes to be addressed at the webinar include commercial and economic activities in counselling, consultancy services, setting up a legal and viable counselling office, hidden wealth in counselling, and entrepreneurial counselling.

“The resource persons are experienced, versatile, competent and accomplished counselling practitioners. They are Prof. Adesoji Awoyemi of the Department of Counselling and Human Development, University of Ibadan; Dr. Olujinmi Odeniyi of Image Counselling Clinic; Stanley Tongbe of Counsellorpreneurship International, Abuja; Dr Josephine Akintunde of Joaakin Counselling and Education Consult, Lagos; and Rev’d Dr Yashim Mathias of Hope Builders, Kaduna,” the statement said.
