The wife of a Lawmaker representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Dr Rhoda Makinde, has expressed optimism that President Bola Tinubu’s present administration will improve the country.

She noted that the current hardship facing the country’s people is temporary, re-emphasising the need for Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu administration.

The wife of Abiola Makinde, the initiator of Dr Rhoda Makinde Women Empowerment Initiative (DROMI), made the call in Osogbo, Osun State, during the distribution of food items to at least 250 aged women through her Food Palliative Drive.

While distributing the palliatives, which included bags of rice and vegetable oil, the Osun State coordinator of DROMI, Mrs Florence Babasola, noted that the event is a testament to the commitment of DROMI to uplifting vulnerable groups and addressing food security within underserved communities in Nigeria.

She emphasised the organisation’s dedication to addressing the needs of marginalised individuals.

In her address, Dr Makinde encouraged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, acknowledging the country’s challenges while expressing optimism in the government’s capacity to drive positive change.
