The governor condoled the Etsu Nupe and chairman of the state council of traditional rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar and the entire Nupe Kingdom over the death of the Nupe leader, Abdulrahman.

Similarly the governor  commiserated with the family of late Alh. Abubakar Achituwo Tanko.

In a condolence message he described the passing of Alh. Achituwo as saddening.

He said the  state and Nigeria had lost a rare gem whose vacuum would be hard to fill and  prayed  Allah to grant him Aljannat Firdausi.
