Northern APC Youth Condemns Attack On Umahi  

A group under the name Concerned Northern APC Youth Forum, have roundly condemned recent outburst against the Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi by one Jadda Garko, saying the attacks stem from vendetta and not facts.

In a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP and signed by its Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Liba said Jadda once pleaded for favors from Umahi but was denied and has now resorted to hate and division.

Liba said Umahi as an APC stalwart and President Tinubu’s strong supporter in the Southeast deserves respect.

According to him, Umahi has demonstrated his commitment to improving road infrastructure in the North judging from projects like the Sokoto-Badagri expressway and other numerous ongoing projects.

He urged Jadda to dismount from his high horse and acknowledge the good works of the Minister and desist from spreading hate.

“Jadda should ask those of us that understands the politics before going public with issues he has little or no knowledge of. Umahi is one of the most performing Minister of this administration and we know President Tinubu understands better.

“My advice to you Mr Jadda, stop chasing after the wind with your misconstrued perception that does not hold waters, shun campaign of calumny and deal with facts, only so will people take anything coming from seriously.

“We know the disposition of Northern elders, Chiefs and Youths of Northern extraction towards Umahi, so all your claims are dead on arrival.”
