A leadership and communications coach, Mrs Stella George, has charged women not to shy away from taking up leadership roles for the development of the nation.

She stated this at the Women in Leadership and Entrepreneurship Conference (WOILEN, 2024) held at the Maryam Babangida Centre for Women Development, Abuja on Thursday themed, “Empowered to Lead, Inspired to Succeed; Women Shaping the Future.”

The programme was attended by aspiring women entrepreneurs, senior secondary school students, grassroots women and change makers.

The author and convener, Mrs George, urged women and girls not to see themselves as inferior for certain top positions often regarded as exclusively reserved for males, saying such thought places them on personal limitations through their mindset.

“If you think you can, you will. Remove personal limitations for greater heights,” she advised, urging men, especially husbands, to always support women in making positive impact in society.
