The Kazeem Support Group (KSG) has called on Engr Abdulsalam Kazeem Karmo, popularly known as Mr. Humble, to consider running for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) local government and councillorship elections in 2026.

In a statement issued yesterday, the chairman of  KSG,Comrade F. Garuba, emphasised the importance of Karmo’s candidacy for the community, especially in light of the economic hardships faced by residents of Jiwa Ward.

Garuba stressed that the people, including youths, market women, ethnic groups, and vulnerable children, were in dire need of a leader who could bring effective representation and implement policies to alleviate their suffering.

“We are aware of how you were made to stand down for the party’s preferred candidate in your first and second attempts at the time, against the majority wishes, but that is all behind us now. There’s certainly no way any serious political party wishing to win would field an unpopular candidate,” Garuba added.

The group highlighted Karmo’s philanthropic nature, experience, and dedication to the community as key factors that would help secure victory in the upcoming election and improve the welfare of the people.

“While we are still on our knees begging you to accept, we want to make it clear that we are already mobilising resources for your candidacy. If you choose otherwise, you will have us to contend with,” Garba said .
