68-yr-old Woman Goes Missing After Attending Church Programme In Nasarawa

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has sought information from members of the public that could help in finding a 68-year-old woman, Becky Mbazuan Wende, who has been reported missing since Saturday.

The Police said Wende, who hails from Kwande LGA in Benue State, was last seen on December 7, 2024, when she left her house to attend NKST Church in New Nyanya area of Nasarawa State.

Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, in a terse statement on Sunday, disclosed that the missing woman was last seen wearing green Ankara attire.

Part of the statement read that, “She is aged 68 years old and hails from Kwande LGA in Benue State. She was last seen on December 7, 2024, when she left her house to attend NKST Church in New Nyanya, dressed in green Ankara attire.

“Well-meaning members of the public with useful information about her should contact the nearest police station or call the PPRO FCT on 07038979348 or 08180382808.”
