The project manager Kebbi Geographic Information System  (KEBGIS), Surveyor Sa’idu Bashir Bakuwai, stated this to newsmen in his office in Birnin Kebbi,

He said the agency recently organised a five-day workshop in collaboration with the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) to enhance the utilization of computers and the internet to support present and future generations by uploading state-specific geospatial data to the GRID3 portal.

According to him, two participants were drawn from the MDAs while three were drawn from the KEBGIS.

Surveyor Bakuwai added that the Ministries to be integrated are Lands and Housing, Education, Health, Agriculture, Water Resources, Environment, Physical Planning, Women Affairs, and the KEBGIS.
