He said that upon his resumption of duty on February 14, 2024, he reviewed the action plan used by his predecessors to fight crime and criminality, including the community policing system, intense operational patrols, and raiding of black spots/criminal hideouts.

According to him, others include quick response to distressed calls, visibility policing/stop and search operations, rescue operations, creation of nipping points at strategic locations, synergy with sister agencies, vehicular/foot patrols, and operation show of force/convoy patrols.

He said the press conference is unique in the sense that the command wants to showcase to the public its achievements/successes recorded for the period under his watch, saying it will enable the public to assess whether they have lived up to expectations or not.

Therefore, he commended the command officers and men for their resilience, dedication, and professionalism in discharging their constitutional mandate of protecting lives and property.

CP Morris Dankombo thanked the citizens for contributing to their quota by providing helpful information and prompt reporting of incidents, which led to the above massive successes.
