“As required by TETFUND, the college prioritised the projects to address deficient areas and provide requisite infrastructure to aid teaching, learning and research.

He said, “It will also provide a conducive operating environment for students, lecturers, and non-teaching staff in line with TETFUND’s mandate.”

Also speaking while assisting the TETFUND Executive Secretary in commissioning the new building erected to be occupied by the Department of Human Kinetics and Physical Education, the Cross River State Commissioner for Education Associate Prof. Stephen Odey, who represented the state governor Bassey Otu, stated that with the building, more could be archived by the institution’s students.

Gov Otu urged the traditional rulers to invoke their powers to ensure that miscreants who came to vandalise the property in the new building would be punished.

He charged the college management and students with guarding the new buildings as if they were their personal property.
