Determined to ensure that no table is left without the joy of Christmas, Tony Elumelu, founder and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, has given out 1,800 bags of rice to the people of Onichu-Uku Kingdom, Aniocha North local government area, Delta state.
The bags of Rice, which came in two batches, were shared among the traditional council, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), community quarters, local vigilantes, and others.
He said the distribution, which took place in the community on Sunday, was a gesture of giving back by one of them and remaining steadfast to his commitment to empowering communities and changing lives.
Represented by Nasir Ramon, Head of Media and External Relations, he said the event was a testament to his deep commitment to his roots, his people, and his vision for a better and brighter future for all.
According to him, the purpose of the event
was about sharing, caring, and the distribution of rice, which was a simple but profound gesture of love that ensured that families in this community enjoyed the festive season with dignity and happiness.
