The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged aggrieved members in Adamawa State  to sheath their sword in order to regain its lost glory in the state.

The APC reconciliation committee headed by Senator Muhammed Mana stated this when it visited the secretariat of the party in Yola, the state capital.

The visit was the first stakeholders and executive engagement aimed to resolve  internal wrangling among members and chieftains after the party’s defeat in the 2023 general election.

In his opening remarks during the meeting, the chairman of the committee, Muhammed Mana, said the primary assignment of the committee is to reconcile aggrieved members in the interest of the party.

Mana said APC is a grassroot political party, and mending fences will enable it to wax stronger and wrestle power from the ruling PDP in the state.

Idris said the members of the committee do not have personal interest but that of the party, expressing optimism that the reconciliation will enable the party to emerge victorious during the forthcoming election.

He applauded Ribadu for ensuring that the committee is formed to unite the members of the party and commended the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

The committee has former Sen. Mohammed Mana as its chairman, Barr. Isa Baba, Secretary and erstwhile Senators, Abubakar Halilu Girei, Bello. M. Tukur and Binta Masi Garba as Members.
