Christmas: Bauchi Speaker Urges Christians To Imbibe Spirit Of Kindness, Forgiveness

The speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman has extended heartfelt greetings to Christian communities in the state during the Christmas celebration, urging them to imbibe the spirit of kindness and forgiveness.

The speaker emphasised the importance of these virtues in fostering unity and harmony within the state and the country at large.

In a statement released by his media aide, Mukhtar Garba Kobi, Abubakar encouraged all citizens, regardless of their faith, to promote peaceful coexistence and support one another, especially in these difficult times.

He underscored the need for compassion and understanding, vital for building a more cohesive and resilient society.

The speaker further expressed his commitment to the citizens of Bauchi State, assuring them that as elected representatives from various constituencies, the members of the House Assembly will continue to tirelessly work towards delivering more democratic dividends that can improve the quality of life for all.

The speaker also called on Christian youths to avoid engaging in unwholesome activities that could harm the reputation of Christians in Bauchi State and beyond.

 

He further urged them to uphold the values of their faith and to act as positive role models within their communities.

 

Abubakar highlighted the need for responsibility among the youth, encouraging them to contribute positively to society and embody the principles of integrity and respect that define their beliefs.
