As the world celebrates the festive season, president general of Okpe Union Worldwide, Prof. O. Igho Natufe, has extended warm wishes to Nigerians both at home and abroad in his Christmas and New Year message. He called on Nigerians to support restructuring, not lose faith in the country, and remain hopeful for a brighter future.
In a statement, Prof. Natufe emphasised that Nigerians should not lose faith in the country but remain hopeful for a brighter future.
“We must not give up on Nigeria,” Prof. Natufe emphasised. “We owe it to ourselves, our children, and future generations to work towards a better Nigeria. As we celebrate this festive season, let us renew our commitment to our great nation and strive for a more united and prosperous country.
“We must work together to address our country’s challenges and create a more just and equitable society for all. Restructuring is a crucial step towards achieving this goal, and I urge all Nigerians to join hands in supporting this effort,” he said.
Prof. Natufe is also the director of the Directorate of Research and Strategy (Movement for National Reformation MNR).
As president general of Okpe Union Worldwide, Prof. Natufe has consistently advocated for the rights and interests of the Okpe people while promoting national unity and development. His message of hope and unity is particularly relevant during this festive season as Nigerians come together to celebrate and reflect on the past year.
He further stated, “As the country looks forward to a new year, the call to action serves as a reminder of the importance of collective effort and responsibility in shaping Nigeria’s future,” he said.
“By supporting the push for restructuring and working towards a more united and prosperous country, Nigerians can help create a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.”
