He preached that love and tolerance should live above violence, agitations, and other divisive tendencies.

The former TETFund executive secretary urged Christians and all Nigerians to sustain their abiding faith in God and promote peace, love, unity, and virtues that enhance the country's progress.

He expressed appreciation to the state Governor, Bala Mohammed, for his decision and efforts to actualise the Sayawa Chiefdom in Bauchi.

In his Christmas sermon, Reverend Corniouls Samaila of COCIN RCC Vingam advised the Christian faithful to show love to neighbours and kindness to the less privileged and vulnerable, as well as tolerate one another across the lines of faith, politics, and ethnicity in the spirit of Jesus Christ’s unique sacrifice and teachings.
