The foundation brought festive cheer to orphans, widows, and children in Cross River, Kaduna and Kano.

In Obudu, Cross River, MAF disbursed food items, such as cows and rams, to the beneficiaries to mark the Christmas and New Year festive celebrations.

Traditional rulers, clergy, and community leaders also received Yuletide celebration packages disbursed to members of the benefiting communities across the states.

The foundation’s honcho, Moses Ted Andishu, disclosed that the annual MAF end-of-the-year gesture commemorates the spirit of Christmas and New Year festivities.

He said that MAF was established in 2020 with the vision and mission to support society’s needy. Since its creation, he added that the organisation has pursued alleviating poverty and offering support to vulnerable groups, which is now an annual exercise.

Moses Ted Andishu, the CEO of Freivan Support Services Limited, UK, said in a statement that the beneficiaries were selected from diverse parts of  Nigeria.

Items were distributed to less privileged people, including widows, orphans and aged persons.

Pastor Joseph Andishu signed the statement and said, “Moses Ted Andishu, the CEO of Freivan Support Services Limited, is an international award-winning entrepreneur (Be Mogul) and philanthropist based in the UK.

“In 2020, when he visited his home, Obudu Local Government area of Cross Rivers State, “Andishu met different challenges faced by his people and was moved to start the Moses Andishu Foundation. MAF is a non-profit platform that empowers people.

“So far, the Moses Andishu Foundation has supported several people with motorcycles for local transportation, sewing machines for tailoring businesses, and soft skill development for leadership. This foundation has also provided widows with food items, particularly during festive periods.

“Moses found his purpose of giving back to every community he is a part of. It is little wonder his presence and foundation have evolved into a phenomenon his people yearn for.

“He has also tutored and mentored skilled individuals in the UK, supported schools, paid hospital bills, empowered the youth, and overall, alleviated poverty. It’s in this fit that he was recognised with the naming of a major street (Moses Andishu Street) named after him in Kaduna state (his town of birth),” the statement stated.
