NPFL Sanctions Sunshine Stars Welfare Officer

Sunshine Stars welfare officer, Abdulrahman Abdulsalam, has been charged for breaching the NPFL Framework and Rules following inquest into the Matchday 19 fixture between the club and Ikorodu City.

Abdulsalam’s conduct, including unguarded public statements, according to the NPFL breached it’s Framework and Rules which mandates all participants to uphold professionalism and exemplary behaviour.

A three -match ban has been imposed on the official with immediate effect.

He is barred from all of Sunshine Stars’ activities connected to the NPFL for the duration of the ban.

The sanction the league body further stated is a corrective measure to ensure that all participants hold the league in high standards.
