Nasarawa State governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has sacked the suspended chairman and members of the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

The sack followed the report of the investigative committee, which indicted the organisation’s leadership of gross malpractices during the recruitment exercise.

LEADERSHIP had reported how the committee headed by Silas Dachor, in the course of its investigation, discovered that the TSC officials ignored Governor Sule’s directive to recruit 1,000 teachers by illegally inflating the figure to 3,000.

It revealed how unsuspecting applicants were made to pay a huge amount of money in exchange for appointment letters.

The committee disclosed that officials of the State’s Teachers Service Commission charged a humongous amount of money per applicant during the exercise.
